I have a script that when it creates a new document it also creates a new defaut view. This scripts works find running from DOORS as long that the module is visible when creating the view. If the module is not visible then I get a runtime dxl error.
However when I run the script in batch I do not get any runtime issues. But, after the script has run if I open any of the modules that were created I get the message ''. If I click continue it brings up the module in my created view. This will happen every time the module is opened. Also after you have opened the module and you switch views and then try to return to the newly created view you will get the same message but when you click continue it closes the module.
It is possible to create views in a batch script? I would like for my batch script to be able to create the new default view.
Thanks,
Lee

I left out the message. I get the message 'The module will not be visible if view 'Full view' is loaded. Do you want to continue?'

This is just a guess. But are you trying to create a view with more than 31 columns? DOORS does not allow more than 31 columns in a view.

The most columns I have in the view is 25.

After reading your post again. I must believe that you will have to create views with the module visible. You cannot change/select a different view unless the module is open visibily.
